If you have done as I suggested earlier, you will no doubt have made your choice of Bali accommodation with your travel agent. I recommend holiday packages as the best way for you to go on your first visit to the island until you become familiar with the island and all that it offers. Important: Getting to and from your accommodation is a very important part of your daily activities: for example, you have the choice of either walking, motorbike/car rental, taxi or private transport. They can all be scary for different reasons but my friend Charlie will do his utmost to care for your safety. M: 08155792272 E: vicky_yudiari@yahoo.com

The first thing you must do on arrival at your hotel is to inquire if they have a security box, room safe or lockable draw available. This is where all of your documents, passport and cash should be secured for the holiday period. If you use a travel agent, ask them to make inquiries on your behalf regarding in room security or other options to take care of this issue.

Once you have settled into your new surrounds, you can then take time out to check other types of accommodation alternatives within an area that appeals to you the most. It’s a good idea to do some research during your holiday because you will be back. Overall there is a huge choice of Bali Villas, Resorts and Apartments to choose from on the island ranging from as low as $20 per night for a losman (room only) and as high as $1,500 to $2000 per night for a top luxury villa. Apartment style accommodation is now becoming popular in Bali and these two in particular are well worth a look.

I am sure you will be impressed with both of these very cool abodes. Of course, everyone has an opinion on which one of these choices works best for them. For example, great facilities at Resort type hotels are very popular with all ages because you don’t have to work too hard to enjoy every single day. Villas

The following address will keep you busy for hours and you will love it. (Google) Cantik Villas.

In recent times, it has become very fashionable to rent a Bali villa for your holiday. I have to say this is a fabulous way to go, providing it fits within your budget or if you dont mind sharing costs in a party of two, three or four couples, or even a large family situation.  The benefit for couples is you share the overall cost of the villa.  Each couple will have their own room and in most cases their own ensuite so this point is worth checking. Other benefits include security guards, security in house safe, pool, privacy, TV, lounge, kitchen, sound system and room service from wonderful staff.

To stay in a top Bali Villa is truly one of life’s best rewards. The down side can be that you are on your own, stuck with each other and miss out on the social side of meeting people like you do at a hotel resort. However, I  honestly believe once you have experienced this type of living, you will never go back to the hotel scene. Enjoy!
