Figures recently released by the Bali Central Statistics Agency suggests foreign tourist arrivals in the month of July totalled 283,524 people.

Apparently the number of overseas tourists travelling to Bali during July 2011 had increased by 11.23% compared with July 2010 and also when compared to June 2011 the percentage increase was up by 15.42%

Since January of this year, 1,587,133 visitors arrived on the island, which meant an increase of 10.6% more tourists arrived in Bali during that time when compared to 2010.

Australians reached a percentage high of 27.25% of the total number while the Chinese accounted for 8.30% followed by the Japanese, Malaysian and Taiwanese with 6.60%, 6.04 and 4.99% respectively.
