From 2007 to the end of 2011, the number of Western Australians travelling to Bali has increased by 306,000 people during 2011 up from only 79,000 in 2007. Many are lured by some of the worlds cheapest airfares and low cost hotel accommodation. Bali is now the second most popular holiday destination after Singapore with a figure of 455,000 people arriving from WA. But remember Singapore is also a transit stop for international travel to other destinations for many of these people. Hopefully, the good times will continue with Bali but please keep your wits about you at all times regarding your health in particular.
